Started by a mother–daughter duo, the brand is rooted in shared passion, creativity, and the joy of making something meaningful together.

Chuii Muii began as a heartfelt gift from daughter to mother - a tribute to a homemaker who always loved embroidery and handwork but never had the chance to pursue it formally. At 61, her lifelong passion finally found its place, becoming both inspiration and purpose behind the brand.

Born in Banaras, a city woven with textile traditions, the mother-daughter duo carries a deep admiration for craftsmanship. The daughter, a designer by profession and passion, has always been fascinated by footwear, how it blends comfort, creativity, and culture. Her love for handcrafted pieces and her curiosity for the stories behind them led her through villages and artisan hubs throughout India. Each visit, each conversation, and each crafted sole became a piece of the Chuii Muii journey.  

What started as a thought blooming over the years turned into a heartfelt dream, one that took shape through patience, precision, and passion. Chuii Muii isn’t about mass production. It’s about the art of making - the kind that leaves fingerprints, not factory marks. Even the sketches are handmade because, for them, design begins as a feeling, not a file. 

After years of research, trials, and exploration, Chuii Muii came to life - handmade and heartmade. It is a dedication to artisans who’ve carried traditions for generations.
